When you place an order with K&J Custom Dog Crates, your order will be shipped to the address designated by you as long as that shipping address can accept packages. Shipping costs for our collapsible crates vary and will be calculated at checkout.
Import duty fees are to be paid by you the customer.
Delivery Date. You will receive your tracking number for your order once it is ready for shipping. All deliveries are made by freight companies & standard couriers such as UPS and FedEx. Most freight companies require that an adult be present at the time of delivery and will not leave items without an adult over the age of 18 being able to sign for the shipment.
**A physical address must be giving for shipping. A PO Box will not work.**
IMPORTANT — U.S. / International Orders
U.S. and International Customers:
Import duties / tariffs / customs brokerage fees are 100% the responsibility of the buyer.
Tariffs are always paid by the importing country — not the exporting country — therefore, any fees billed by U.S. Customs or your local customs agency are payable by you upon entry.
K&J does not collect or mark up these fees — they are government-charged and vary by region.
Refusing Delivery (U.S. Customers)
If you choose to refuse to accept delivery of your order once it has arrived in the United States, please understand that any return freight costs and re-import fees charged to bring the crate back into Canada will be deducted from your refund, in addition to our standard 10% restocking fee (based on the product cost).
We strongly recommend reaching out to us first if you have any questions about duties/tariffs or delivery so we can help you avoid unnecessary costs.
Return Policy
You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date to return your unused product.
- Returns within 10 Days: No restocking fee.
- Returns after 10 Days: A minimum 10% restocking fee applies on standard colours and 20% on Metallics (higher fees may apply if the product is returned used or damaged).
All items must be in original condition, including manufacturer packaging, tags, and documentation. Returns will be declined if items are returned used or improperly packaged. Please take care to package your return securely.
**No returns are accepted for custom size or coloured crates**
Exchange Policy
For customers in Canada, we offer one free product exchange per order.
- Exchange Window: Must be requested within 10 calendar days of receiving the product.
To qualify, the item must be in original condition with all packaging, tags, and documentation intact. Exchanges may be declined if items are returned used or improperly packaged. Please package your item carefully.
