We just set it up tonight for our lab/boxer/Rottweiler pup. He has destroyed all the other kennels so here’s to hoping it works for us!! But it seems way more sturdy the anything else.
I would recommend a person with strong hands to assist you. As I (farmHer) struggled to do it….

The other thing is I wish there were better instructions and a YouTube or tutorial video to watch.. also have a couple extra pieces not sure what they are.

We got the crate to replace our 54", and it is great and spacious for our GSD. I should have went even one or two sizes smaller. But the create can fit into the trunk, which is great for cottage trips, so overall we are super happy. Added bonus, because it is pretty closed off the dog is quite in there, no barking.

The cage is really nicely done, well made and solid, the only thing I don’t like, is noisy in the vehicle, a few moving parts, metal to metal creating noise for each bump in the road, but easy fixing. I recommend this cage. The mattress, really disappointed, nice and strong fabric, but is not even 1/2” thick.

We got the large collapsible. Our Samoyed should have been named Houdini, she has escaped every crate she’s ever been in with the exception of this one. You could slap tracks and a turret on this thing and voila you have a tank. It’s surprisingly light given how robust it is and folds down too a very manageable size when not in use. We love it!

This thing is a tank ( but with cute paw print cutouts)! Holds our Newfoundland snug as a bug ( but with room to turn, sit and stretch), and the best part is she’s made no attempts to escape- that means she’s finally happy ( after escaping 4 other types of crates). Shipping pack was great and very well designed, erecting was a breeze, and support for quick Q&A was pleasant and honest. A true investment we will never regret!

The cage was like assembling Ikea furniture, but do-able. Telescoping it can be difficult. But the dogs and I love it. More room, safer, better airflow, and they can see out of the windows better so I’m sure car rides are more interesting than they were in the previous kennels. Happy with my purchase, worth the investment. :)

Absolutely love the new crate. So sturdy and strong. The color is also absolutely beautiful.
Love that we can order such a good crate from Canada.
My only complaint is it came with a few clips and screws I don't really know where to put. After looking at photos on the website I think they are clips for the sides if you stack? Not a hundred percent but I think. Doesn't effect the structural integrity at all so I'm not worried about it and I'm not docking any stars.
Also the delivery driver made my husband help carry it off the truck but again not on k&J custom crates I'd say that's more on canpar. Just glad he 2as home because I definitely cannot lift this.

Great product - communication with K&J pretty difficult though - I had to eventually get hold of them on facebook for delivery update. I have since also e mailed them about any known installers in Vancouver and my e mail is still not responded to .

The Way it is builed is vers good I recommend this crste I bought an 54 inches for m'y great dane so far so good he adapt well to his crate .

I’m very happy with the crate and it fits very well in the car. Assembly took longer than I thought it should. Adjusting the floor and ceiling can be frustrating because the sections get stuck; however, jiggling them slightly makes them easier to adjust. Some of the assembly alignment tabs are flimsy, break easily and I found the sides kept popping out. Luckily, once bolted the crate is strong and sturdy.

I feel better knowing that my dog is secure in the car and we are both protected.

Bought xxl crate to take my dog on airplane. It is way out of my price range but this is the only shop who had a crate of that size ready to go. The owner was very nice and gave me a discount because they were saving money on the shipping . crate is a little expensive but still the price is on par with other sellers online. And it is built like a tank
