After 3 serious breakouts and trashing 3 plastic crates in as many weeks, we committed to purchasing a K & J Dog crate. She has been in it nightly and for brief periods when we aren’t home and so far so good! Initial scratching on the door guard until she realized the crate could not be breached and she was safely contained. Stress free for us as well. Dog safe, house contents safe!

This is our third crate from K&J!. Jill was amazing when I called to see if there was an opportunity to buy the crate right from the warehouse to save shipping fees. She was very accomadating and customer focused. To top it off, right after I ordered the crate, I noticed another 5% discount and she offered it up without hesitation. They offer a great product and service. I see another crate in the future.

Our dog club recently had a raffle for a dog crate and the owners/staff we wonderful and very easy to work with.
EXCELLENT Customer Service

So ordered this crate for my 5 month old cane corse. It was incredibly easy to put together, the longest part was attaching the wheels to the tray. Was easy enough for my wife and I to put together (she has 2 broken ribs atm).

I only gave it 4 stars as it hasn't been used a bunch yet but so far this thing is built very solid. But will come back and either fix or do another review once it's been used more.

Owners took the time to talk on the phone with me about the product and provide options for different custom sizing. They are extremely helpful and the quality of the crates are unmatched! Don’t know what I would’ve done to move my XXXL dog abroad without them!

I bought the teal collapsible large crate for my male boxer. He is safe in this crate. I love how easy it is to put together and take apart.
The customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this crate.

Collapsible Dog Crate 2.0

We bought a new set up for our new vehicle because we do lots with our dogs and got tired of hauling different crates and equipment. After checking out friends’ K&J set up this summer we got collapsible crates, fans so we can keep them cool when we bench in the car this summer, and a trolley to haul everything inside when we’re at shows.
For now the crates are comfortable for trips and well ventilated. As a bonus, the door stays open when we’re loading and unloading. I had to hold the door open on the old crates while wrangling leashes and dogs. Love the bright, fun colours - had to buy purple for our bullmastiff Violet 😉🐾🐾

I bought the pink and purple one for my female Doberman and I just love the color very easy to transport and just love the quality too I am just excited to add more in my collection of crates and i would like to take also for the very good service from the store 😊

We have just received and set up our fabulous collapsible dog crate from K&J and I could not be more pleased with the fit and finish and overall quality and design. We purchased it with the rolling trolly base for mobility around our home and it works wonderfully. Our 12 week old Aussie Sheppard pops right in after a good exercise session and rests easily and comfortably. Going from a wire crate to this more enclosed crate was a concern, but he’s made no complaints at all and may even find it easier to settle. Our preference is to always buy Canadian-made products and services (local if possible), and to support small businesses. Jillian and Kevin provide excellent customer service and it’s lovely to deal with small business owners who are committed to their product and their customers. We are completely satisfied!

Versatility, lightweight, compact, and safety in one use. Easy set up and take down. Love how it has handles on top and below for carrying. Whether you decide to style your home with these beautiful crates or compact and take with you to the cabin. We love the features that are acceptable with the airlines. Having one crate that does it all is FANTASTIC with the investment. Also, customer service is by far the best!

I LOVE the new rubber material of the grooming mat that goes on top of the crate. The dog grooming set is crucial for those who show!

There have been several changes made to the crate since the first set I purchased several years ago. The crates are now better than before. Customer service is fantastic as always. Thank you for my very pretty new crates!

A bit heavier than I expected but very happy with it

I am really happy with my purchase from K&J crates. Their product came highly recommended from my breeder, and I am not disappointed. It is nice to be able to easily transport the crate when needed, but also know that it is solid and secure. More importantly their service was exceptional resolving any of my concerns. Highly recommend.

We're really happy with our new crate, as is Freya, our Malinois X pup. It looks fantastic and will definitely outlast us, that's for sure!

The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that we had thought from watching the demo video that that crate would be very quick to collapse and rebuild, as we were planning to move it to a different room at night and potentially use it in a vehicle for short trips. However, while the crate is certainly very easy to put together and super-sturdy, there are 16 small thumb-screws on the sides that need to be removed/replaced each time the crate is collapsed, so while it is collapsible as advertised it's not quite as "portable" as we'd assumed.

Either way, we highly recommend this crate!

This was well worth the wait! These crates are engineered so thoughtfully, I’m super impressed. Colors came out amazing as well! Worth every penny in my opinion!

I purchased the Rear Airline Rail for my collapsible crate which I use frequently for airline travel. Adding the rear airline rail gives me peace of mind that my crate will have an added layer of stability and will meet airline compliance ensuring my dogs will be safe during travel. My dogs will be comfortable and their crate will be extra sturdy. I highly recommend purchasing the rear airline rail as airlines get more particular about crates that they will accept.

The door chew guard was purchased to give me peace of mind when using my K&J crate for airline travel. I know now that a paw or leg will now not fit through the bars on the crate which could have led to a potential injury when airline crews are loading/off loading my crate from the aircraft hold.

We purchased and received our new crate from the wonderful folks at K&J Custom Dog Crates in the last 10 days. the product is superior to any other dog crate we have seen or owned over 30 years. The quality is first class and appears to built to last a long time. Jillian was fantastic answering my questions, and everything she told me about their products was accurate. I would highly suggest this product for people that wish to take great care of their dog.
