I would highly recommend this company. Easy to deal with, great quality, and friendly knowledgeable owners.

First off: the crate is gorgeous! I ordered the Fairy Dust Teal and it’s just beautiful. The crate as a whole is really thoughtfully designed. I got the collapsible, even though it’s going to stay in the house, because it seemed like it’d be easier to get into the tight space in my office. It was super easy to get in place and to set up.

I also have to comment on the amazing customer service. I ordered right before the crazy tariffs on goods coming into the US from Canada started and they so kindly held onto it for me while the Supreme Court deliberated on them. I’m just so pleased with my purchase and experience with the company.

We recently purchased the MIM Safe Variocage Double and wanted to share an honest account of our experience. To begin with, the service we received was excellent. Jill was very responsive throughout the process and ensured our questions were addressed promptly, which we genuinely appreciated.

In terms of the product itself, we were initially surprised by the overall material quality. Several components arrived slightly bent and required adjustment before assembly, and there were a number of paint chips straight out of the box. That said, once fully assembled, the unit presented well and felt stable.

Assembly is best completed by two people. The lighter-weight material, while not as robust as expected for the price point, does make the crate much easier to lift. My husband and I can load it into the back of my truck without any difficulty, which is a practical advantage.

Although I provided the dimensions of both of our large-breed dogs, I do not feel that the divided configuration comfortably accommodates two large dogs. Thankfully, our dogs have managed to share the full, undivided space without issue. The standout feature is the door system—it is solid, smooth, and noticeably higher in quality than the rest of the components. Given that the doors will be used daily, this is a meaningful benefit.

If this crate had been priced in the $1,800–$2,000 range, I would consider it excellent value and would likely rate it five stars. However, even with the discount applied, I do not feel the current price aligns with the material quality or overall finish.

In summary: exceptional service, a functional and lightweight crate with a great door system, but the product itself falls short of expectations for the premium price.

absolutely love our K&J fitted crate pads! The fit is perfect and snug. My dogs are nesters and dig up bedding and mats and have left these in place and have not messed with them which is a huge plus! They also wipe clean in a few seconds! If you have K&J crates these are a must have, and a great investment in your dogs comfort!

I’m so glad I purchased these kennel covers. I have two Impact crates, but unfortunately their website doesn’t offer covers. These fit them so perfectly, and helps keep the wind and rain off my dogs. It also helps insulate them and keep them warm when visiting my parents for the holidays. The pockets on the sides are an awesome addition, as well as the vents. No regrets, and very happy with my purchase. If you ever need to contact their customer service, the people are super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend, and I honestly wish I came across their company before I purchased my kennels from Impact.

Just picked up a XL collapsible crate the other day for my Canadian Inuit dog. I have no doubt that this is going to last him his life time. He seems way more comfortable in this crate than he did in the old wire mesh one and it seems to help a lot with his separation anxiety. Definitely worth the wait and price. It took a little longer than expected to come in and when I reached out to K&J they where great and keeping me in the loop on the progress of my order and even tost in a complimentary crate mat for the inconvenience as I ended up waiting just over 2 months. All that said as my dog sled team grows I look forward to working with them in the future.

The design is great for when the crate is not in use. But the crate rattles a lot and the bolts that hold it together come loose when moving manually. There is not a tie down feature for when the crate is on the floor of a truck. We simply loop it through the handles.

I decided to sell my Rufflands and install a variocage into my Telluride. I had a lot of questions and it’s a big financial decision. I was amazed at the responses that came on weekends and late hours just when I was online. There were answers but no pressure.

A friend helped me to install my cage but now I think I could do it after watching. Seeing her set up when she was over I decided on the corner bowl too, and am still going to order the cover that comes up to protect the front doors as I often use vent locks when I train to let more air in. For this reason I love that the doors also lock! I decided on this set up for safety and also for air flow but mostly for more room for my big dog who had ACL surgery. I want her to be comfortable. I use the 60/40 split and she also has more awareness that her best friend my smaller dog is beside her.

I love that I can open a side door and see them from either side and that they are no longer inside solid walls of crates. And I have more side and head room in my cargo area even though I installed the double XXL than I had with the crates. I can see out my rear window again! Altogether so happy with the kind customer service and the products. Installing the corner bowl today.

And PS my set up doesn’t rattle at all. I heard this may be an issue but it may have helped that my friend who helped install it has one and is an engineer. She made sure the angles and fit of all screws and holes were perfect and threaded well. No rushing and no forcing the set up but making sure it was aligned and thus everything is fit nicely and secure.

I highly recommend this - I have a pricey car, my dogs mean the world to me, so the cost is worth it and looks better in the car too. I was fortunate to have the Rufflands to sell that hold their value to offset the cost too. Still I would recommend it’s worth a small savings account to invest in this set up. I teach dog tracking classes and travel a lot on highways and to other provinces for tracking and sheep herding too. It’s worth it to have a good set up. Thank you.

Very strong, study, safe craft that fits 2025 TOYOTA 4 runner very well. Fits 2 mid size german shepherds and could if wante still extend the cage length further. Lpve tsafety features (open at back if accident). Expensive but worth it. Only drawback is sme intermittent rattling when driving but not excevely loud.. more annoying at times. As I put together probably missed something just havent figured out what yet.

My 60-pound shepherd and I love our new K&J collapsible crate. The size large is perfect for her, gives her plenty of room to comfortably stand, turn, and lie down and fits very nicely in the back of my mid-size suv. Looking forward to our first flight with peace-of-mind knowing this crate is safe, sturdy, lockable and escape-proof. Thank you for helping me choose it Jill!

We love our new SUV crate! With winter fast approaching the crate gives me the pace of mind that my puppy is safe in the crash tested crate. We felt like family ever since we walked through the door and all of our questions were answered right away. We tried on a couple sizes and picked the best fit!!

This crate is a great product and well worth the investment. Our GSD pup is comfortable and secure which means the world to us and himself. The service was excellent and K&J were in touch personally and very happy to help us with any questions we had.

Jillian worked patiently with me to choose the best crate option for my dog and our travel needs. The large collapsible is roomy and very comfortable for my 60 lb dutch shepherd and we love it!

I’m not a dog trainer but wanted to be more organized taking classes with my dog & when I take him out myself. Pockets inside & out - phone, treats, dog toys & D-ring for keys or poop bags.

My only note would be that the instructions for assembly could be a little clearer and more specific. Besides the amazing RED colour, the K&J training vest has great accessible pockets for all those treats. It fits like a glove and gives that extra warmth needed at this time of the year. I love mine and so do two of my friends who have also purchased them….WELL WORTH THE $$$$. Thanks K&K 😍
