I have ordered 3 crates from K&J— 2 stationary and one collapsible. With a pack of 10 dogs, I have tried many, many brands of crates. Ruffland, Impact, wire, plastic, you name it. K&J not only has awesome color choices, but they are more sturdy and secure than impacts, easier to clean than RLK’s, and they have many size options. The only downside is that shipping took a long time, but they have been worth the wait. I will be back for more!

I was looking for a good crate for my dog that has really bad separation anxiety and can destroy/escape the standard crates. This fits the bill perfectly. I was looking as I needed one quick, I messaged and asked a few questions, got a quick reply and the shipped it the same day. Next day it arrived. Great service!

We bought this kennel for our hound after she destroyed a wire kennel and escaped it frequently, she definitely can’t destroy this one or escape.

Absolutely love this kennel. I feel a lot better knowing my girl won’t be able to destroy or possibly hurt herself while she’s in her crate. We’re still dealing with a bit of separation anxiety but knowing she’s safe, is totally worth it.

My beloved Siberian Husky is a true menace to society, as well as my life. He yearns to break free of the shackles (my apartment) that withhold him from terrorizing the outside world. He has broken out of locked patio doors, locked windows, dead bolted front doors even… and broken the doors off of several wire crates costing me hundreds in damages along the way. I was at my wits end, ready to sit him down to have the blunt, and frankly overdue, conversation that I would be shipping him off to Alaska to join a team of sled dogs if he wants to be free so bad. This is the ONLY thing that has been able to contain him and the demons that live inside him. The crate is incredibly lightweight for its size, but beyond sturdy. The colour, pink to my dogs dismay, is gorgeous and the assembly was quite easy. I fear my sweet boy has finally met his match in this crate and I could not be happier. My dog, on the other hand, is quite devastated that he can no longer send me into a spiral by 9am on the daily. He tries with all his might to free himself from his cushy life with me, but thanks to this crate he’s doomed to a lifetime of warmth, love, and affection in my home.

I purchased a Variocage Double XXL for my 2025 Sorento, both for the protection of Future Service Dogs at an accredited organization and the protection of my brand new vehicle.
Not only did my order get packaged and sent out within 24 hours, but I received my crate in a week! I was definitely expecting a longer shipping time for it to arrive in South Western Ontario, but I was pleasantly surprised with its fast arrival. The crate was packaged well to prevent any damage, and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Great crate, needs some patients to assemble

I pre-ordered this crate and was very pleasantly surprised when the lead time was accurate and it shipped exactly when I expected it to!

I was a little disappointed in the carrier (Canpar) as as signature was required and they simply left it by my garage door early in the morning. This was a little stressful to me as it is a very expensive package to leave unattended!

The crate itself is fabulous. Pretty easy to assemble, seems very solid, and my dogs are very happy to get into it. My only complaint would be that one of the pieces of the crate came out of the box scratched, which was disappointing, but not enough to impact anything, just a sad from an aesthetic point of view.

All in all, very happy with the service I received from K&J crates! Would not hesitate to order from them again!

I really love the way the sliding machenism works. This leave extra space as it can be moved towards the corner of the crate, and leaving plenty of space for more ventilation or to hang a fan without obstruction

Variocage.....cant say enough on the quality and the overall solid manufacturing of this unit. I can know breath a little easier knowing that my dogs are safe if anything were to happen in an accident and or trying to escape. Thank you to K&J for helping out with the installation into my vehicle. Also 5 star to the safe corner drinking bowls. They fit like a glove and their no spill design is ingenious. I truly recommend K&J for you furry friends needs.

Finally was able to purchase 2 of the extra small crates for my toy dogs after looking at lots of options. Thrilled with the looks, quality and workability and looking forward to enjoying them at dog shows

Full time dog trainer here. I bought 3 of these for handling the escape artists that I can get from time to time. Ones that break out or through wire crates and thr plastic of a very kennel never had a chance of containing. Save your self the hotel room damaged claims by buying one of these crates. Goes up in about a min. We'll built overall. Even what a crazy mal trying his best to escape or destroy it in the mean time. Locks work well. I do like that there are two sets not just the main door lock. I like they are stackable as well. Easy to tie down. I would like to try the winter cover for taking the dog into work.

Over all happy. Would recommend over the impact crate.

These are the most amazing crates and I'm chuffed they are a Canadian company. Solid construction, thank heavens for the trolleys as our dogs are rather large. Easy to set up the collapsible crate and the trolley. We also purchased fans for both dogs as we travel regularly to Caribbean with them. The only thing I wish they had was a drip water bottle. Very happy.

I love the crate however they are still unassembled. I took everything out, removed the shrink wrap- incredible packaging- read the instructions and started. However I do not have the strength to use the rivet gun, not even for one rivet, never mind the hundred or so necessary. I have had to call on a friends husband to build them for me. She had a larger collapsible version which she said needed no rivets, just pull it up and add the rails. I am most disappointed as without help I have no way to build these. I assumed, wrongly they would come assembled as they are the X small crates. You should advise people of the need for assembly on a stationary crate and give us an option to have them assembled. If I had known I would have bought the collapsible version I can’t wait to get them back and in my car where they are desperately needed.

After researching and trying a number of small-dog crates on the market, the MIM Care2 is the best I’ve found for vehicle travel. It’s extremely well constructed with doors that are easy to latch and unlatch (and having two doors is extremely handy). I’ve used the crate on both single and bench seats and it fits perfectly, which gives a lot of flexibility in setting up my vehicle. And the crate offers lots of ventilation to keep my little guy comfortable, while still feeling very sturdy.

It took a long time to arrive but worth the wait, especially as I wasn't required to pick it up at the border! Best crates ever, they will last a life time. This is the second time I purchased Variocrates as I changed vehicles and needed smaller creates than I had. They hold their value, unlike plastic crates.

I purchased a MIM crate, cover, leash hooks & bowl. All items are of superior quality. Dogs love the crate, love that they are safe. Customer service was terrific. Good experience all around! Thank you!
