K&J Custom Dog Crates Giveaway Official Rules

By participating in the K&J Custom Dog Crates Giveaway (“Contest”), entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

1. SPONSOR

The Contest is sponsored by K&J Custom Dog Crates (“Sponsor”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising, and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. The Contest is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

3. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins on Dec 3rd and ends at 11:59 PM EST on December 24, 2024 (the “Contest Period”).

4. HOW TO ENTER

  • No Purchase Necessary: Complete the email sign-up form, and receive one (1) entry. Limit one (1) free entry per individual.

  • Purchase Entry: Purchase any K&J Custom Dog Crate during the Contest Period to automatically receive two (2) entries per transaction.

All entries, regardless of the method, will be treated equally and have an identical chance of winning.

5. PRIZES

There will be three (3) prizes awarded as follows:

  1. First Prize: $1,000 K&J Custom Dog Crates Gift Card (approximate retail value: $1,000 CAD).
  2. Second Prize: $500 K&J Custom Dog Crates Gift Card (approximate retail value: $500 CAD).
  3. Third Prize: $250 K&J Custom Dog Crates Gift Card (approximate retail value: $250 CAD).

Gift cards are valid only for purchases at K&J Custom Dog Crates and are not redeemable for cash.

6. DRAW DETAILS

A random draw will be conducted on December 26, 2024, at 6pm EST at 12515-129st NW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T5L1H7 from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Potential winners will be notified via email or phone within five (5) business days of the draw. If a selected entrant does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, fails to meet the Contest requirements, or is otherwise disqualified, the prize will be forfeited, and another entrant may be selected.

8. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION

To comply with Canadian law, selected Canadian entrants must correctly answer a time-limited, multi-step mathematical skill-testing question without assistance to be declared a winner.

9. TAXES

All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, as well as any customs duties or fees, are the sole responsibility of the winner. U.S. winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be required to complete IRS Form W-9 for tax reporting purposes.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the Contest.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for technical errors or late, lost, or incomplete entries.
  • By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and image for promotional purposes without further compensation.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By entering the Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

12. PRIVACY

Personal information collected for the Contest will be used solely for Contest administration purposes and in compliance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. Entrants may opt-in to receive marketing communications from the Sponsor but may unsubscribe at any time.

13. GOVERNING LAW

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations. The Contest will be governed by the laws of Canada for Canadian residents and by the laws of the United States for U.S. residents.

14. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED

The Contest is void where prohibited by law, including Quebec and any U.S. states that prohibit such promotions.
