I love these crates so much I now own 4! The two stationary crates I just purchased are perfect. Although they required some assembly, they are sturdy, the dogs gravitate to them over other brands (yes, I have done a side by side comparison and my dogs prefer the K &J's), they look terrific, but I adore the easy open/easy close latches the most. Customer service is top notch as well. Best Crates Ever!

This was a first time purchase of this style crate.
I was very impressed on the detail of safety and the colour’s available. The design of paw print’s gave this crate an added appeal.
I do recommend this crate if you are wanting a durable one.

We just set it up tonight for our lab/boxer/Rottweiler pup. He has destroyed all the other kennels so here’s to hoping it works for us!! But it seems way more sturdy the anything else.
I would recommend a person with strong hands to assist you. As I (farmHer) struggled to do it….

The other thing is I wish there were better instructions and a YouTube or tutorial video to watch.. also have a couple extra pieces not sure what they are.

We purchased a K&J after trying many other crates. We travel often for dog shows and needed a stationary crate that could double as a grooming table. These crates are the best in the market, hands down! So very impressed and can’t stop raving! Thank you for creating such a quality, versatile product that is eye catching and beautiful as well!

I have ordered 3 crates from K&J— 2 stationary and one collapsible. With a pack of 10 dogs, I have tried many, many brands of crates. Ruffland, Impact, wire, plastic, you name it. K&J not only has awesome color choices, but they are more sturdy and secure than impacts, easier to clean than RLK’s, and they have many size options. The only downside is that shipping took a long time, but they have been worth the wait. I will be back for more!

My beloved Siberian Husky is a true menace to society, as well as my life. He yearns to break free of the shackles (my apartment) that withhold him from terrorizing the outside world. He has broken out of locked patio doors, locked windows, dead bolted front doors even… and broken the doors off of several wire crates costing me hundreds in damages along the way. I was at my wits end, ready to sit him down to have the blunt, and frankly overdue, conversation that I would be shipping him off to Alaska to join a team of sled dogs if he wants to be free so bad. This is the ONLY thing that has been able to contain him and the demons that live inside him. The crate is incredibly lightweight for its size, but beyond sturdy. The colour, pink to my dogs dismay, is gorgeous and the assembly was quite easy. I fear my sweet boy has finally met his match in this crate and I could not be happier. My dog, on the other hand, is quite devastated that he can no longer send me into a spiral by 9am on the daily. He tries with all his might to free himself from his cushy life with me, but thanks to this crate he’s doomed to a lifetime of warmth, love, and affection in my home.

Very nice people and great crates. I recently bought a large stationary crate . I am very happy with it. The guys at K&Js were super friendly and helpful when I picked up the crate . They also helped me strap it down in my new Jeep. I recommend K&J to everybody who has car safety in mind for their K9 family members .

Pros: Beautiful design, strong, smooth locking mechanism, turnaround time was reasonable for the order.

Cons: some corners were bent during shipping that we had to hammer out, the rivet gun provided was really hard to use so we had to get our own, the instructions for the crate were very vague and since we had to assemble the crate ourselves that was an issue.

My dog is not sound sensitive so this isn't an issue for us, but the bottom pan of the crate tends to make a loud metal popping sound depending on the dog's weight distribution in the crate, additionally the handles on the top of the crate are spring-loaded and snap back against the crate of you let go abruptly making a very loud metal pop sound in the crate.

I bought the size large in the gorgeous pink colour for my husky girl who loves to break out of crates. She has met her match for sure…
The team is so helpful, responsive over email, and even talked through options with me over the phone. Can’t recommend them enough!

This crate is so well manufactured & built. The company’s customer service is fantastic & you can tell they care about the people & dogs using them. I highly suggest this crate to anyone serious about keeping their animal safe.

I bought the small stationary crate for my corgi and it is perfect%21 I also bought the grooming set and the wheels. I’m 5’4” and it’s a few inches shorter than my standard grooming table%2C but still a great height. The grooming arm is strong and perfectly positioned. The grooming mat is really nice. My dog is happy in the crate whether in the car or at the show. Quality construction.

After years of struggling to find a crate to contain my Husky, I have found one.
The upfront cost always seemed to be a factor, well when you are purchasing new crates at $200 every month or sometimes week. $1500 really was not much (estimate that I have spent close to $7000 over the last 5 years on crates). Wish I could go back invest in the high-quality crate and save myself a lot of grief and unnecessary costs.
A week after receiving my first crate, I ordered a secondary for my Doberman, which also tended to destroy her crate.
Now to order a couple of collapsible crates for use in the vehicle.

The company was super easy to work with and kept me updated every step of the way. When my order couldn’t be fulfilled due to stocking issues, I was immediately given multiple options to fulfill my order immediately or the option to wait until my entire order would be available.

Items are very well made and so far, are exactly what I needed!

We ordered the Medium Stationary Crate with the trolly and grooming set to be shipped to Oregon The folks at K&J Custom Crates were super helpful in making sure that we included all of the components we needed and helped us navigate the ever changing tariff and shipping rules that exist between the US and Canada. Our shipment arrived in a very timely manner at the lowest possible shipping costs. We are very happy with the design fit and finish on the crate we received. One area for improvement is in the assembly instructions, specifically in orienting the top panel so that the slot for the second fastener on the grooming arm lines up with the hole in the top of the side panel. It is very easy to assemble the top 180 degrees off so that the upper hole for mounting the grooming arm is covered up.
