It was late at night 1/10/19 when I was leaving my parent’s house to go home. I loaded my dog up in my variocage and started the short highway trip to my apartment. As I was exiting the highway I had to come to a complete stop to yield to oncoming traffic on the main road. There was more traffic than usual and I had to wait a few minutes before I had an opportunity to go. I finally saw a break in traffic and was aboutt to merge when I was suddenly hit from behind. I was hit so hard that my car was pushed out into the street. Luckily my steering wheel was already positioned to make the turn into the lane that I needed to go into and there was no oncoming traffic. The driver that hit me admitted that he was watching the car that I was waiting to go after and that he forgot to check to see if there were any cars ahead of him. Sullivan’s variocage no doubt saved his life. I can only imagine what would have happened if he had gone through the windshield. Sullivan is doing very well after such a major accident and is back to being his usual antics.
Thank you!
